About Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden
Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden is set on a remote chain of islands that have been protected by the maidens for generations, but which now face destruction. The hero of the story vows to save the islanders and sets sail for the high seas, together with Laty, a girl who failed to become a maiden. The second game in the unique Voice of Cards series, where all elements are presented entirely through the medium of cards, in the tradition of tabletop RPGs and gamebooks. A touching tale set in a world of melancholic beauty, brought to you by YOKO TARO (Creative Director), Keiichi Okabe (Music Director) and Kimihiko Fujisaka (Character Designer). *This game is not a direct sequel to Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. Both stories can be enjoyed as standalone game experiences. *This product is also included in other bundles sold separately. Please take care not to re-purchase the same content. * Please be aware that parts of the game which require an internet connection may cease to be supported at any point.

Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden: Switch vs Steam prices
Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden is currently cheaper on the Nintendo Switch eShop than on Steam in 6 of the 44 countries where we can compare both stores: the biggest gap is Japan, where the Switch version costs about $6.26 against $22.36 on Steam, a saving of roughly $16.10.
Why the gap? Nintendo and Steam price the same game independently. Each eShop sets its own price in local currency for its country, while Steam sells through regional currency zones with their own price points. Exchange rates move daily, so two sticker prices that match on paper can differ in real terms. Both stores are also region-locked: you generally buy from the store your account belongs to, which is why a cheaper region usually needs that region's gift card or wallet top-up. All Switch-vs-Steam figures on this page are USD conversions taken when prices were last checked.
