This edition of MLB The Show 25 includes: • 5 The Show Packs Ignite your passion and build your very own path to greatness—from high school all the way to the Hall of Fame! Along the way, connect with iconic baseball stars in fan-favorite modes – updated with new ways to play. ROAD TO THE SHOW Road to the Show is a single-player, role playing mode where you create your own journey. Build the RTTS ballplayer you want, the way you want in Path to 99 Progression. Craft Perks to your liking and utilize a revamped attribute progression system for full control of your player's development. Play through your career, complete challenges and level up towards a 99 OVR. • Begin your RTTS journey by playing High School and College games in The Amateur Years – then set your career path in motion and determine your Draft stock. The college experience includes eight fully licensed teams such as Louisiana State University, University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee and UCLA. • Experience a new way to earn Equipment in RTTS, with packs rewarded based on your seasonal and career performance. Revamped gameplay effects are now tied to Perks. • New gameplay additions to Impact plays, including: hot shot catches for infielders, catchers blocking balls, rob foul ball opportunities, ball-in-dirt indicator when base running, new sliding swim move to avoid tag when stealing, and cut ball decision making for Catcher, 1B and 3B. • New first person fielding camera option and new base running control scheme based on camera orientation. FRANCHISE & MARCH TO OCTOBER • In Franchise mode, winning the World Series is what drives you. Choose your involvement, whether that’s playing every moment of every game – or choosing the key moments that matter, now with improvements to both Player Valuation Logic and Contract Logic. • Introducing the new Front Office Experience, including Free Agency: Battle of the Big Boards. Try a New Free Agency experience with risk/reward elements that add strategy, immersion, and excitement to the pursuit of the top free agents each offseason. DIAMOND DYNASTY Build your dream team from scratch. Collecting and earning player cards is the name of the game, as you craft your very own lineup. • Set your sights on greatness with the overhauled, year-round Diamond Dynasty: 360 – with no more time-limited season restrictions. • The above includes adjustments to the pace of progression, as well as changes to in-game programs, the return of fan-favorite program types, team affinity changes, and more. • Try out Diamond Quest with your Diamond Dynasty squad! It’s a brand-new roguelike game mode, where rewards are yours to earn through moments, boss encounters and more. • Show your skills in Weekend Classic: play more competitive, high stakes games and earn rewards in this periodic Solo Ranked event. • Realize your in-game potential the smart way! The Community Stats feature stacks your performance against other players through in-game presentations. STORYLINES Celebrate history in Storylines while you play as the barrier breakers and learn of baseball’s past. • Continuing Storylines: The Negro Leagues with Season 3, this mode transports you into years gone by, introducing you to the unsung and unknown heroes of the national pastime.
